The Rockingham Male Chorus of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is a group of volunteer musicians from a variety of careers who welcome the opportunity to travel and to sing the gospel of Christ. Click here to see a picture of the group. Organized in 1966, the founder and original director of the Rockingham Male Chorus was Dr. Nelson T. Huffman, a music professor at Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Va. He led the "Singing Men" through their 500th concert before retiring in 1987. The chorus continues under the direction of David MacMillan, a graduate of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. The chorus has given over 1,000 concerts and perform regularly starting in September through April traveling from Pennsylvania to Florida.
