i know a university of virginia football fan who would tell his fellow cavaliers to celebrate victory before the virginia tech game. because there would not be anything to celebrate afterward. i wonder if that same advice applies now more to obama supporters. or to romney supporters.
i just had the weirdest dream. the redskins went down to new orleans and beat the saints 40 to 32. i will just enjoy it a few minutes before i go check on what the score really was.
does anyone know the story on the missing labor day fireworks. that would ordinarily have been shot off monday night at the conclusion of the oakdale park celebration. are they postponed to some future time.
i have figured out two things from seeing all the political ads for the president and senate races.
one. the candidates are fine upstanding people with great plans for our country.
two. their opponents are all skunks.
i made a point of spending a little extra at lawn party this year. because the rain has kept the turnout down a little. and i do appreciate our fire department. maybe things will improve for a big finish.
