Southwestern, not Mexican?

jalapenoelcharroYour webmaster is told that the menu at Jalapeno Southwest Grill is Southwestern U.S., not Mexican — and therefore the menu will not overlap El Charro all that much (Jalapeno is coming soon to Generations Park, Bridgewater.) So — local foodies, what’s the difference between Southwestern U.S. and Mexican?

    1. Not to be critical because you can’t argue with success, but El Charro’s is Mexican STYLE food. Kinda like most Chinese places are Americanized Chinese food. Hopefully, this new place will be a little more authentic.
